The Client Brief

We met Poppys Picnic right at the start of their incredible journey. Their raw dog food start-up company was at the initial concept stage, with a brief to create an e-commerce website which was unique, highly user-friendly and scaleable, with advanced features such as customer subscriptions, voucher codes, sales repots, dog weight/food calculators and much more.

Our Solution

Using some of the client’s existing branding and our own creative design work, we developed the custom website style to stand apart from the competition, offering a personal, yet professional voice to the brand. The e-commerce system itself was developed using WooCommerce and various customised plugins to make the site an enjoyable buying experience.

The Result

We formed a strong relationship with the client, maintaining and developing the website, which was key in securing them four offers from the BBC show, Dragon’s Den. Since partnering with the Dragon, Deborah Meaden, Poppy’s Picnic have now secured over £500,000 in crowdfunding investment and are now valued at over £5,000,000. As the business sales are 99% via their website, we played an instrumental part in the success of this start up.
